Music Industry Association
The founding of the Association was not only a response to the global crisis of the COVID-19 pandemic, but also the establishment of a group with clear tasks for the future. The Association understands the music industry as composed of large, economically strong entities engaged in organising the largest mass events in indoor and outdoor locations. By metrics such as tickets sold, revenue generated, VAT remitted on ticket sales, and other indicators, it represents the largest grouping in the Czech Republic. As a platform, it is designed to be a dignified, sovereign partner with a strong mandate across all manner of negotiations, not only with the Czech government and the relevant ministries, but with all levels of public administration, up to and including entities not currently active in the Czech Republic’s entertainment industry. The Association strives to communicate its goals, processes, and views to the general public through active media engagement.
